  1. Anyone else feel guilty listening to the same record over and over again? I'll find a band, really dig 'em, but won't want to listen to their record that much. There's so much music out there, and with the internet, there's so much great multicultural music at our fingertips, there's no point in putting the same record on repeat. It's so boring to listen to the same thing over and over again, I always want to be listening to something new. I feel like I'm neglecting all the music that's out there if I'm listening to the same things.

    1. @pizzicato Yes I'm the same way, I'll listen to the same records and cycle through them every few weeks, never really introducing anything new unless I feel absolutely compelled by Celestia herself.

      1. @jinny I always kind of want to recommend horrible things like Jandek or The Shaggs, but I'm just not cruel enough to do it with a straight face.

    2. @pizzicato I see your point, but if I really enjoy an album, I'll listen to it whenever the feeling takes me. I do try to keep expanding my tastes and collection, but when I dig something it's because I'd be willing to hear it again.
