  1. Apparently I can wrap meat in foil, put it in the mini-oven (Not microwave. Never put metal in a microwave! DON'T DO IT. THERE WILL BE FIRE.) on about 350 and leave it there for 15-30 minutes to cook it. I have no idea why noone has told me this before. We have all this meat I could have eaten.

    2. @retl I used to put metal in the microwave all the time, back when TV dinners still came in foil trays, you could just peel the cover off and stick them back in the box, used to nuke them all the time with no problems.

      1. @colfax Apparently not anymore. Someone blew out the dorm microwave last month doing that. Then again, there's a few people here who can manage to break anything.

        1. @eaglehooves Now if you want to permanently erase a CD or DVD, stick it in the microwave for five seconds, you get data security and a nice little light show.

      2. @colfax AAAAAAA that's horrifying. I still remember burning a very obvious black mark onto the front of our first microwave because I put in a instant meal thingy in there and it had some foil on it and I didn't check it or watch it as it heated.

        1. @retl I knew someone who put a potato in a microwave for 45 minutes... melted the glass tray in the bottom.

          1. @colfax So you're NOT supposed to microwave potatoes? Oops...

            1. @1mudkip88 No, you're not supposed to microwave them for 45 minutes... 4 would be better.

      1. @ceruleanspark Seriously, it's full of meat and junkstuffs. Not a lot of substance if one doesn't know how to prep the meat.
