  1. NOW it's time to start editing my video playthrough. Rendering won't be fun. :c

    1. @pinhooves 3 hours to render what?!

Saturday, 12-Nov-11 04:07:21 UTC from web
      1. @stumperman007 3 hours? I didn't say 3 hours. Since this is a long video, Sony Vegas is going to take a while to render it at 720p quality.

        1. @pinhooves That is a nice 5 hours to render there.

          1. @stumperman007 It's only an hour to render this chapter...

            1. @pinhooves "This chapter?" D:

              1. @scribus It's about 12 minutes long. Uncharted goes by chapters, not by missions like Call of Duty.

                1. @pinhooves Right, right. I meant, "An hour for *this chapter*?"

Saturday, 12-Nov-11 04:12:42 UTC from web
                  1. @scribus Oh, it's a large file, and rendering the video at 720p makes it that long.

                    1. @pinhooves Boy, I tell ya, you are committed. (And if you aren't, you ought to be!) #

                      1. @scribus I have the computer beside the TV, so I can keep myself busy while it's rendering. The only thing I can't wait is the Youtube uploading time. Since my connection isn't the best, it can take at least 5 hours for a file like this.

                        1. @pinhooves We are opposite, you render fast, upload slow, I render slow upload fast.

                            1. @pinhooves Well I have a good computer, ask miloth.

                                  1. @stumperman007 Hmm, maybe there's something I got that makes rendering faster?

Saturday, 12-Nov-11 04:24:15 UTC from web
                                    1. @pinhooves Maybe you bought the real Sony vegas and not me.

                                        1. @pinhooves Guess like I am going to /finally upgrade it to Sony Vegas 10.

                                        2. @pinhooves What? Not paying for software? Bad ponies! (Hides 'free' copy of CS5.5)

                                          1. @eaglehooves Trust me, if I had the money, I would buy it. It was the only software I could use the make videos with the Hauppauge HD PVR.

                                            1. @stumperman007 Ok, I think you've got more. My roommate is more of the person for that.

Saturday, 12-Nov-11 04:35:21 UTC from web
                                              1. @eaglehooves That was only a small bit of the list, there is more.

Saturday, 12-Nov-11 04:36:17 UTC from web
                                                1. @stumperman007 There's a few copies of Windows around here that don't officially exist, but that's about it for me. The university managed to undercut the pirates, so I really get most of what I need off their servers.

Saturday, 12-Nov-11 04:38:17 UTC from web
                                                  1. @eaglehooves My windows 7 I am using, yeah stole it.

Saturday, 12-Nov-11 04:39:17 UTC from web
                                                  2. @eaglehooves Speaking of pirating and windows. *looks at my windows 7 task bar that used to be windows vista*

Saturday, 12-Nov-11 04:39:25 UTC from web
                                                    1. @miloth @eaglehooves @stumperman007 I copied Windows 7 installation files from a school made installation disc to my flash drive today in IT, so I can now install Windows 7 Enterprise on as many computers as I want :D

Saturday, 12-Nov-11 04:59:29 UTC from web
                                                      1. @macpony55 I've got the university's server codes, so I've got access to a ridiculous amount of stuff. Don't feel like testing my luck with Win 8 at the moment, though.

Saturday, 12-Nov-11 05:06:37 UTC from web
                                                        1. @eaglehooves just save it for another day I guess

Saturday, 12-Nov-11 05:08:17 UTC from web
                                                          1. @macpony55 I need a way to beat the license system if I want to try that. Once you connect to the network, they all report back, and for most stuff (Win 7 & MS office) one extra license key going out means nothing to IT. Win 8 I feel might trip a few flags.

Saturday, 12-Nov-11 05:11:38 UTC from web
                                                            1. @eaglehooves I've got some friends that have done it. I believe one of them just did a windows 7, used a key on it, and then went into cmd or something like that and changed update info to make it think it was Windows 8. so the next time it did the little Windows Update, it installed windows 8 using a Windows 7 key

Saturday, 12-Nov-11 05:15:03 UTC from web
                                                              1. @macpony55 That might work, but I'm not too willing to tinker with my laptop at the moment. I've got to have a working machine at any given moment, and it's all I got, so I'm sticking with what I know works.

Saturday, 12-Nov-11 05:22:26 UTC from web
                                                                1. @eaglehooves I have a similar situation, so I'm always careful when messing with OS stuff

Saturday, 12-Nov-11 05:24:14 UTC from web
                                  2. @stumperman007 Wow. Terabyte drive, or just really empty?

            2. @pinhooves Well lucky you. Maybe I should fix my problems.
