    1. @scribus Whiskers, that's a book tree. xD

Tuesday, 13-Dec-11 18:27:12 UTC from web
      1. @jinny Isn't it amazing(ly flamable)?

Tuesday, 13-Dec-11 18:29:53 UTC from web
        1. @scribus It's also amazing(ly readable)

          1. @jinny I wonder if they're attached at all, or just stacked?

Tuesday, 13-Dec-11 18:36:04 UTC from web
            1. @scribus If they're just stacked that's a bowling ball mishap waiting to happen. ;3

              1. @jinny Mishap, or "mishap?" >:-)

Tuesday, 13-Dec-11 18:43:20 UTC from web
                1. @scribus I'd have to go with "mishap". Either that or an accidental # with my old Scoutly Bonking Bat. :3

    2. @scribus I'd rather go with something like this. http://preview.tinyurl.com/26vkz4c

      1. @colfax Wow. That's eye-catching.

Tuesday, 13-Dec-11 18:30:27 UTC from web
        1. @scribus I'd run fiber-optics through instead of regular lights too.

Tuesday, 13-Dec-11 18:34:30 UTC from web
          1. @colfax Would the lights match the part of the tree they were in?

Tuesday, 13-Dec-11 18:35:35 UTC from web
            1. @scribus No, the tree I have now uses a rotating disc with a checkerboard of different colors to light the optics, I was thinking that, with a rainbow colored tree, I'd use a simple white light and the disc would be checkerboarded with spots that'd just block the light, so it's be all white spots of light that flicker on and off, give it kind of a shimmering effect.

              1. @colfax That would be awesome. Hell, it'd actually be pretty cool in a green tree, too.

              2. @colfax That sounds really cool dear, I have a really lame 3ft. Plastic Tree with default BUILT-IN lights! It's a sight to behold.

Tuesday, 13-Dec-11 18:43:48 UTC from web
                1. @jinny That's what I have now, a 3' tree with built-in fiber-optics, but I want to mod it, it uses a halogen light I hate and that disc thing with a noisy motor, I want to replace it all with color changing LEDs, that way it'll still be the same lighting effect without the risk of the halogen light setting everything on fire.

Tuesday, 13-Dec-11 18:46:40 UTC from web
                  1. @colfax Ah yes that would be far more effective. ^^ Mine has just LEDs that have LIGHT UP ACTION!

Tuesday, 13-Dec-11 18:47:30 UTC from web
                    1. @jinny @colfax I sure hope you guys put garland on your trees too. A Christmas tree has no soul if it has no garland.

Tuesday, 13-Dec-11 18:49:03 UTC from web
                      1. @redenchilada Oh hell yeah, it's trimmed out in garland and way too many ornaments, all that's missing is a Pinkie Pie ornament.

Tuesday, 13-Dec-11 18:50:14 UTC from web
                        1. @colfax "Too many" has no meaning on Christmas trees. You're probably confusing it for "not enough".

Tuesday, 13-Dec-11 18:52:09 UTC from web
                      2. @redenchilada Sadly my tree has no garland, unless you count Judy Garland because I have some Wizard of Oz Christmas Ornaments.

Tuesday, 13-Dec-11 18:57:48 UTC from web
                        1. @jinny What a travesty. I hope you're fixing this, because Pinkie Claus will not leave you any presents if your tree has no garland.

Tuesday, 13-Dec-11 18:58:35 UTC from web
                          1. @redenchilada I'd fix it, but I think Judy Garland will suffice.

                    2. @jinny This one has the light and all in the base and all sorts of fiber-optics running up through the branches, gives the tree a decidedly furry look when it's not switched on.

                      1. @colfax Wow that sounds really cool. xD I need to get myself a fancy tree like that. Mine was like a $5 Big Lots tree. xD
