@thelastgherkin That's absolutely horrible. :( #hugs Can't even begin to imagine how it must feel to know you might go blind. I don't think I'd be able to handle that. I really hope nothing like that happens, though. That would be the worst thing ever.

@thelastgherkin I'm thinking you'll probably stabalize at a point. My prescription eyewear is pretty heavy-duty, and my doctors haven't pulled any punches about it, but it has been a couple of years now since it got any worse. It had been downhill from about 7 years old to 21 or so, but then it sat steady for the past 7ish years.

@flaxx I've got a congenital anomaly on the optic disc in my left eye, and astigmatism in both.

@flaxx Astigmatism = blurriness. Congenital anomaly = part of your eye went wrong when you were born and it's going to get worse as you grow older.

@pinhooves My left eye (and maybe my right) will get worse and worse until it'll stop at 'bad'. (I have ascertained that blindness isn't a possible eventuality.)
