  1. Aaagh, it feels like I'm getting shocked in the stomach when my iPhone (which is in my hoody pocket) vibrates whenever I get a notification.

        1. @pinhooves I hope not, my dad taught me about it! XD I also liked the electric therapy for my wrists; I'd crank that up until I was twitching like a T. Rex. And I once grabbed an electric fence!

                        1. @yodelerty Fullerton, Southern California. We get about 72 non-consecutive hours of "winter" every year, and that's around it. XD

                          1. @scribus Oh, that makes sense. I guess I just can't comprehend a winter without snow. XD

                                1. @yodelerty Most triumphant! To be honest, I'm a hairy dude, and as much as I like not dealing with snow shoveling, I'd kind of like being able to wear pants and maybe a sweater more than eight times a year. Or, the dead opposite, and I'll move to Hawaii.

            1. @pinhooves Nah, not really. I mean, it was pretty gnarly, but it was for my uncle's goat pen instead of anti-personnel or anything.

              1. @scribus About 10 years ago, I wasn't paying attention, and I touched an electric bug racket after it was turned on. I was like, screaming because it scared me.

Monday, 02-Jan-12 08:18:26 UTC from web
                1. @pinhooves I mean, I didn't know it was turned on, and touched the metal parts.

                2. @pinhooves This one just made me get kinda numb and tingly all over and I had to seriously devote some brain cycles to getting my hand off of it. Then afterwards I was kinda lightheaded and had a hard time walking straight, like my legs were water. I think I was like 13 at the time.

                  1. @scribus I don't know if static counts, but the trampoline in our backyard makes the worst kind. If you rubbed your back/head/whatever, you would get shocked from a few centimeters away. :p

                3. @pinhooves Didn't hurt too bad, though? At least, I guess not, from the fact that you said it scared you.

                  1. @scribus It was pretty painful, but it really freaked me out.

                    1. @pinhooves Do you get that adrenaline rush after you come out of a pain situation without any actual damage done? Or is that just me?

Monday, 02-Jan-12 08:24:26 UTC from web
                      1. @scribus Yeah, I guess you could say that. It's been a while since I've actually been shocked or anything like that, but I think I've had that before.

                        1. @pinhooves Do you deliberately seek out pain to feel that rush afterwards?

Monday, 02-Jan-12 08:27:58 UTC from web
                          1. @scribus Static, yes. Anything else, possibly no. :p

                              1. @scribus Depending what it is, I would say no. And I've never been in that kind of concert before, so I haven't experienced a mosh pit before. :p
