Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 01:07:15 UTC from web-
@decibel True true, welcome back :D
Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 01:07:41 UTC from web-
@macpony55 Good to be back
Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 01:08:11 UTC from web-
@decibel How ya been?
Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 01:09:23 UTC from web-
@macpony55 Aggrivated, all electroncs in my house that keep me busy are dieing out on me.
Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 01:10:58 UTC from web-
@decibel What has died so far?
Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 01:12:25 UTC from web-
@macpony55 Computer monitor, xbox, cellphone, wifi router. All but my iPod and gamecube
Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 01:13:48 UTC from web-
@decibel Is it electrical problems? Or age? Or just possibly all flukes?
Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 01:18:52 UTC from web-
@macpony55 Wifi? A fluke perhaps. Cell? Eats through batteries new or not. Xbox? a miracle mine lasted 3 years. And I have zero clue what's happening with my CPU monitor.
Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 01:20:52 UTC from web-
@decibel Well Xbox is excused then, I can understand a bad cell phone and a bad router, monitors are supposed to last though, so along with you I'm not sure about that one
Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 01:22:41 UTC from web-
@macpony55 Well it's symptom is wierd. I can be on the Internet for hours, but give me 20 min. with a game and it goes to sleep and won't wake up
Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 01:24:53 UTC from web-
@decibel All I can think of is something in the settings that causes an overload when you try to play a visual-intensive thing like a game
Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 01:26:30 UTC from web -
@decibel Might be the video card.
Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 01:26:52 UTC from web-
@colfax But I added a gaming one in not too long ago. After my last one went kaput.
Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 01:28:27 UTC from web-
@decibel No idea then, power settings maybe?
Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 01:28:56 UTC from web -
@decibel Then I'd suggest trying a friend's monitor. This sounds a lot like an issue I had with bad onboard graphics once.

@decibel If you'd like to hear a graphics problem I had, then it could (possibly) help. I had a GTS 450 that broke whenever I went from a forced shutdown, gave me horrid resolutions, and worked kinda funny with games. I tried the drivers, but eventually I just sent it back to the company (PNY) and I got a new one that works great now... If updating the drivers don't work, or a fresh reinstallation of windows along with updated drivers, I'd recommend sending it back.

@princesstwilight Hello, I dare say that I have almost never talked to you, I hope that changes

@princesstwilight You and I seem to do the same thing.
Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 01:11:51 UTC from web -
@princesstwilight Inhave a sticky note in my sight every morning reminding me to come here.
Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 01:14:55 UTC from web -
@thatonepony @decibel Drivers are definitely something to check. So I would say start by checking the basic settings and updating your drivers
Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 01:30:05 UTC from web -
@thatonepony Gpu drivers are what for people like me who don't know important things?
Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 01:30:12 UTC from web-
@decibel The thing that lets your graphics card communicate with the rest of the computer.

@thatonepony @redenchilada Interesting, I'll have to look into that. Well at least I can still use it for the internet, it's better than it blue screening like before.
