@yodelerty In the prairies, apparently. CBC was going on about it all day. It hit -12C in Vancouver on the coast-- which is rare. (And the rest of the country makes fun of them because it's one of the mildest places.)

@mushi Lucky. It hasn't been terribly bad here in Southwestern Ontario, except our weather has been all over the place. Today hit -9C, yesterday was +7C with rain, and a week or two ago we had snow storms that brought several feet of snow.

@forestrain well, we do have dry weather here. In the winter we gate about 10% of humidity

@getacutiemark My dad grew up near where I go to school now, but raised me in a place where 2 inches caused panic. He laughed out loud whenever the newscasters talked about snow.
