@abigpony No, it's not like that..

I HAD A PONY DREAM LAST NIGHT IT WAS THE MOST INCREDIBLE THING OH MY GOD I AM FREAKING OUT oh and there was an awesome elevator. Which was awesome.
-
@dezzierose Lucky! I never get interesting dreams...
-
@dezzierose i'm lucky i can control my dreams
-
@dezzierose You. Lucky. PONY.
-
@eaglehooves It was super interesting! Its so funny though.. Every single one of my pony dreams has a Cold Opening just like the actual show!
-
@pinhooves Now, I wouldn't consider it lucky.. Just the arrival of the new ep today got me excited over ponies.
-
@shadowlight and how do you do that? I would like to know!
-
@dezzierose it takes a few weeks but it's really easy just need to constantly check your surroundings to the point where it becomes a cycle then your brain will continue the cycle while you're sleeping. it's basically a literal reality check. look up lucid dreaming
-
@shadowlight I've been trying that, but apparently I'm too absent minded. I'm not very consistent with the checks.
-
@eaglehooves i just pulled an inception tactic with a totem and it actually worked but it took a reallyy loonngg time
-
@eaglehooves yeah I lack the focus to lucid dream,but on the other hand I'm pretty good at daydreaming.
-
@abigpony Well it was a normal elevator (besides being glass) but its activated in the same way as Celestia's door from S2E1 but it is activated with a hoof instead of a horn. It glows and everything! In the dream, all of the modern technology has to run on magic. It was a cool dream.
-
@dezzierose Was it a great glass elevator?
-
@technopony0vinylscratchrecollor buck yeah.
-
@dezzierose Nice. Were there little singing men? With green hair? Pfft. And a chocolate waterfall?
-
@shadowlight I think I can do that, but I only change the tiny details. I have researched heavily into the makings and possibilities of lucid dreams.
-
@technopony0vinylscratchrecollor No, it wasn't like that.. The elevator worked like a normal elevator would, except the outside walls were glass, like the elevators in this awesome hotel I stayed at once.
-
@dezzierose Or like at the mall I used to go to.
-
@abigpony Yep. Like many of my other dreams, I took no part in the Mane 6's actions, I just watched it episode style. There was even a cold opening.
-
@technopony0vinylscratchrecollor I.. guess so?
-
@dezzierose Dreams are wierd.
-
@abigpony A "Cold Opening" in television is when a small bit of the episode is shown before the title sequence and theme song. For instance, the cheering lesson given by Rainbow Dash in Sonic Rainboom is a cold opening.
-
@dezzierose thanks for telling me. when would a cold opening be appropriate?
-
@getacutiemark At the very very beginning, before the title sequence.
-
@technopony0vinylscratchrecollor Weird indeed. But they're cool like that.
-
@dezzierose cool.... just wondering.
-
@abigpony In the opening, RD and Twilight recieve a package while unpacking in a modern-day hotel room, and they take turns unwrapping it. Rainbow lifted the lid of the box, Twilight levitated all the box's contents (packing peanuts and a smaller laptop box), ad Rainbow pulled out the little box. Twilight opened the box, and Rainbow gleefully tore off the bubble wrap to reveal a stray computer cord. RD- I thought there was more to it? Twilight- Rainbow, send this thing back to Walmart! RD- Yes Ma'am! *picks it up and rushes out* and cue title sequence.
dezzie again likes this. -
@getacutiemark No problem at all!
-
@dezzierose terrilble walmart, terrible walmart, ah ah ah ah...
-
@getacutiemark Yeah, ok. That works.
-
@abigpony I actually started off thinking that it was an actual episode, and thought that "The fanbase will go crazy over the mention of Walmart!"
-
@dezzierose It's like your dreams predict the future, in a symbolic sort of way.
-
@abigpony Ehh, I wasn't exactly the narrator, as much as I was just a watcher streaming the episode from YouTube or something..
-
@redenchilada How so?
