@mrdragon Yeah, but I already had many problems trying to have a Steam-free Skyrim, mostly with the 1.27 patch, that after the Megaupload incident, had many problems to get pirated. It's way better to download the ESPs, models, etc. in a .rar and install it manually, as it was in Morrowind and Oblivion.

@nerthos this is why I buy games, even if I don't have the money I either wait or save up. Why wait on a torrent I need seeds all the time for and dl at like 400 kb/s, when I can dl for 2 to 4 mb/s on steam, as well as auto updates for my games as peace of mind. And a one click install and uninstall system for mods now. Steam beats the service pirates can offer me hands down, ill happily torrent EA games though. That's more worth it.

@mrdragon My prblem with Steam is that they force you to pay through bank or card, and the games are entangled with it, so you need to run the program to play the games. In older machines, that can be a serious performance problem. And auto updates? I like to choose what to install, after a week or so, when I can know if they actually are worth it. Also, paying for something without a physical copy?

@nerthos actually, many older games do not force steam play. And I prefer a digital copy over physical. I've lost many physical games or broke them, I can't break a digital copy. And you can choose to update or not by taking off the auto update feature. As for those payments, I happily pay through paypal and have for a long time.

@mrdragon I may start using it if they give me the option to pay with cash, I always preffer to go with some coin in my hand to the store. And I always make backups of the physical copies xD

@nerthos I've never seen the problem with using you normal bank card, credit cards I'd be cautions about. But I don't have one and don't want one either, more trouble then they are worth.

@nerthos they don't touch your money unless you tell them they can do so. It's the same really as paying by hand, you have to actually give them the money from your hand to theirs and the same is only. You have to say yes I agree to you taking my money or I can take you to court. Ones verbal the other is physical, both do the exact same thing.

@mrdragon After 2001 and the "corralito", I won't let banks touch my money xD I don't trust this country's banking system, and using foreign ones is expensive. Also, I love my pirating. PC games are far too expensive after someone tought it would be a good idea to charge for them the same as console ones, without paying the platform rights. So, now everybody does it, and I choose to not give them anything.

@mrdragon There's a problem with the international term "billion" for english speakers, it means 1 000 000, but for spanish speakers it means 1 000 000 000. So we use "millardo" instead of "billón" for it xD so I just write 3kmillion to avoid problems
