While I wholeheartedly agree that the new scene just isn't as special as the original, and the edited lines make me want to shoot myself, I'm siding with Hasbro here. For once, they proved that THEY control the show. Not us. Maybe it'll show some bronies that they need to calm down and just love the show, instead of whining every time something happens that doesn't meet their extremely high expectations, or isn't how THEY wanted the character interpreted.

@ovation Even so, 99% of Hasbro probably doesn't have that kind of control anyway. I'm sure the legal department handled it all. I guess they did what they felt was right, good thing Hasbro and the Hub are good sports and have been doing their best regardless.

@dmtactical True. But then the more.... vocal bronies throw a tantrum and that gives us a negative image. I don't necessarily agree with how Hasbro handled it, but I'm definitely not running around, screaming, "OMFG HASBRO U SUK" like I know more than a few bronies are doing.

@calgarybronycon Hasbro pulled "The Last Roundup" off of iTunes and re-uploaded it with a new version of the opening scene with Derpy. I'm just horribly offended because they did it terribly and the new Derpy voice is absolute rubbish.

@zennx Not necessarily. I just feel that the situation could have been handled with a lot more tact on BOTH sides. Because I know for a fact that some bronies have been sending death threats to people who had little to do with this.

@ovation no I am not, just look at the world it's slowly changing, the revolutions, the people freeing themselves, it didn't happen because they had "tact" they happened kuz the people got fed up with all the BS and came out to the street and went all "dole I'mma woop yo mangoes like a boss"

@scribus you misunderstand me, violence is the answer to everything =/= violence in the ONLY anwer to everything, I believe that when this whole Derpy mess started if someone went to the haters, smacked them on the face, told them to man up and stop all this kiwiin' things wouldn't have gotten this bucked up, there are other ways to solve it yes, and it can still be solved, but it will waste a lot more time, and it will be a lot harder
