  1. Hasbro did this to be nice to us and now we're acting like we can boss them around, this whole thing is costing them thousands if not more from lawsuits and whatever else is going on. They're gonna think twice before doing something for our fandom next time. And all this discussion about it isn't going to change the outcome, you can say save Derpy or don't it's just a waste of time, Hasbro is gonna make the call, our opinion's will be the last one's they care about given the current treatment we're giving them all because they were nice of us to put Derpy on in the first place.

    1. @macpony55 *sigh* yeah you're right I suppose. We can still try I guess.

      1. @sebastian1314 It's only causing more problems

        1. @macpony55 Gah, I just wish nobody would have complained to begin with. THEY'RE the ones who started the whole problem. Hasbro does us a favor, and then they start to complain and papayas about it like five year-olds. I just wish nobody would have complained, and we wouldn't be in this mess. It would also be nice to hear an official report from Hasbro as to why they did it, as all we can work off of right now is stupid rumors floating around and angry people supporting/hating on the cause.

          1. @sebastian1314 What's done is done, all we can do now is wait it out and try to not tear each other apart

            1. @macpony55 Yeah =C Frankly, I'm not deteriorating relations with anypony I used to be friends with on here (at least I hope), just sending/receiving stabs from a few trolls/haters/enemies/fakebronies/whateveryawannacallem

    2. @thatonepony What did you disagree with?

    3. @ponyray Just a waste of your time honestly

    4. @macpony55 you know what helps, doing the same thing youre saying were doing(spamming) to try and counter the arguement, and how is it being nice to us?

      1. @thephilosophicalbrony This is the first time I've talked about it, and does one medium length post count as spam? Hasbro put Derpy on for us and now we're antagonizing them over taking her off because they're being sued, does that really seem right?

Sunday, 26-Feb-12 18:39:53 UTC from web
        1. @macpony55 it may be the first time youve talked about it, but you posted the same thing 3 times, and hasbro didnt put it in the show, they allowed it...theres a difference

          1. @thephilosophicalbrony I didn't repost it, people that agreed with me did that to send the message, it's that little recycle symbol by each message\

    5. @thatonepony True, but I still see it as a nice gesture from Hasbro, I just wonder how their taking our response

Sunday, 26-Feb-12 18:40:38 UTC from web
      1. @macpony55 Actually, I can't help but wonder how much of a disconnect there is between Hasbro and DHX.

Sunday, 26-Feb-12 18:42:04 UTC from web
        1. @forestrain Is DHX another name for Studio B? I'd be interested in that as well

        2. @forestrain Good communication is one of the biggest problems in society

Sunday, 26-Feb-12 18:44:23 UTC from web
    6. @thatonepony Well as we are all addressing Hasbro that seemed the most appropriate way to address it as well, but you are correct, it's not Hasbro itself but only a small group of people within

Sunday, 26-Feb-12 18:45:26 UTC from web
    7. @thatonepony Oh no, definitely not, and they won't ever do something like this again either

Sunday, 26-Feb-12 18:48:18 UTC from web
    8. @macpony55 We're not so much "bossing them around" as we are wondering "why did you change her? / how is she offensive? / why did you take our gift away?". Some fans are really freaking out, but we need to make sure that Hasbro knows that, while the majority of fans aren't happy with their decision, we respect it.

Friday, 02-Mar-12 06:19:13 UTC from web
      1. @matt Of course we respect it; if we were in Hasbro's shoes, we would do the same thing. However, if we were in Hasbro's shoes AND found out why these people were so mad in the first place, we'd tell them to go procreate with a cactus. LIKE DISNEY WOULD

        1. @zarkanorf Yes, but Hasbro only knows what they do about the fandom from the direct feedback of the fandom, and the only feedback (or at least a large portion of it) is negative.

Friday, 02-Mar-12 06:22:50 UTC from web
          1. @matt And now, we know to fight back with VERY POSITIVE reinforcement. It was only negative because we were mad about them taking it away but unsure on how to portray our dislike for it.

    9. @macpony55 Next time, though, we just all have to work together to make the other opinion outheard. 20:1 in praise-to-hate is not enough; 2000:1 is better.

Friday, 02-Mar-12 06:19:22 UTC from web
      1. @zarkanorf This isn't about praise and hate, people were seriously offended by Derpy, and one needs to listen to all the opinions. And praise isn't exactly the right word for it, we've torn the community apart, their are physical separations among us now, that is not an effect of praise. In the end that feeling of offense becomes way more important than our's of a very mixed variety. If one can fix the offensive part while only incurring a slight sadness in others then that is the obvious choice. Hasbro/Studio B did what they needed to and we need to just get over it and accept it, not say "if we'd only had a few more.....," what's done is done, it's time for this to end.

      2. @zarkanorf C'mon. I thought you were smarter than this! It isn't a democracy. Complainants raised awareness of a potential issue, which legal determined had merit, then acted upon. Unless you're seriously advocating that we should actively silence people with dissenting opinions, in which case that's just terrifying.
