  1. So. Every so often I hear a click and then my computer BSOD's. It's also not the HD cause I replaced that. Not dust in anything either cause I cleaned the crap out of everything. Any ideas? !techponies

    2. @minti Fans?

      1. @ceruleanspark Would the fans stopping cause that? And if it's the fans there's probably a bigger problem that the fans stopping is just a part of. Ugh :/ xD

    3. @ponydude Ususally it's a KERNEL_INPAGE_ERROR, but sometimes it's also one that just says a critical system process has terminated unexpectedly. It's weird.

    4. @minti well the only other thing that could actually make a clicking sound is the PSU.

      1. @ceruleanspark Yeah.. that's what I'm thinking too. It sounds like a fan gets jammed, then restarts when it clicks so.. Ugh. xD

        1. @minti I've always wanted a liquid-nitro cooling system.. not to mention the know-how to use a liquid-nitro cooling system.

          1. @pony I don't think it's that different to a water cooling system, except that it needs to be kept under higher pressure

            1. @ceruleanspark it was my understanding that they're similar as well. I have no idea how I'd go about installing/setting up such a system.

          2. @pony Lol I know two people with liquid nitrogen cooling. It's a nightmare to set up. xD

            1. @minti I can imagine! I do wonder whether it's possible to reuse a nitro cooling system.. I mean I'm under the impression it'd be expensive to do, so I wouldn't want to just get rid of it once my system became outdated.

              1. @pony One of my friends has it set up as a DIY project and constantly has his CPU overclocked. So yeah, but it's hella expensive. 5 digits per year apparently.
