@purpletinker But you supported it with your funding for longer than he did, if my memory serves me correctly. And there's Bronycon too, the creation of which was a huge milestone for the fandom and a great success. It's not just about RDN. Any true Brony would know you are more than worthy of respect.

@mrdragon I'm working with Cabal on finding a suitable new admin, and possibly also a suitable new host (sometimes, suitable admins have convenient access to suitable hosts ;) ). Nothing will happen to RBDN. I wouldn't let it happen.

@forestrain Don't worry about funding. As long as I'm paying (i.e.: until the changeover), everything will be fine. AFTER the changeover, perhaps the new host will want moneys. Talk to him or her once the changeover occurs. :)

@purpletinker Well, I don't know if he messaged you about it. But myself and @ceruleanspark we're willing to take it on, it would be hosted on my dedicated box, and him keeping it updated and running on the sys admin way. If that had been accepted. Also, a donate button was suggested.

@minti Upgrading StatusNet would be a pain. I'd made various minor changes to the codebase that would have to be patched back in. Things like adding links to the menu at the top right, requiring email validation, things like that.
