      @toksyuryel If a notice is a word or phrase repeated a bunch of times, it's spam.

        @redenchilada That seems overly restrictive and something that ought to be mentioned in the rules then, because it only specifies if the post is repeated multiple times. I was simply making a commentary on something I saw during IcedTea's build process.

          @toksyuryel It's still considered spam. If a post consisted solely of, say, "DESU DESU DESU DESU DESU[...]" would be considered spam and deleted as such! There are other ways to illustrate your point that aren't as spammy.

            @redenchilada Perhaps, but none of them are as comically illustrative. A DESU post is devoid of any content, while at least there was some form of meaning to what I posted. But I do not wish to argue the meaning of spam here with you now, I simply would like to see the meaning you are using mentioned in the rules so that it doesn't happen again. I can be extremely forgetful at times and having the reminder there would be very helpful, and it might keep somepony else from making the same mistake in the future.
