    1. @retl Pschaw. Never do anything for the responses; do it for you!

      1. @thelastgherkin I hear that fairly often, but I've yet to really find anything I really do for myself, yet. Closest I've come to really finding something that I smiled at the result because OMG MINE was when I took some time to figure out sewing and made a stuffed plushie. I've never tried another since then since it's very time consuming, and I have no idea how to break the progress into pieces. ... I really do think if anything about me is going to go places just for me, it will be the toy making thing.

        1. @retl Oh, but if you draw you must be doing it for you! I mean, why else would you?

          1. @thelastgherkin I actually just went over this topic a few days ago when another trusted acquaintance of mine asked me the same thing. http://travisuped.livejournal.com/146865.html One reason that I left out in the post though was that of filling niches that I want to see filled that other people seem to ignore or not realize are there. And by drawing attention to it, I can usually motivate people to contribute to it.

          2. @thelastgherkin That's not why I *started* drawing, though. I started drawing because I wanted to draw porn.

            1. @retl I see we have very different approaches! With me, I just draw for myself, and if people like it then that's super bonus points! :)

              1. @thelastgherkin I wish I were like that. XD It'd probably be more fun. I don't think it would be impossible for me to draw for myself, but I'd need to develop a different skillset and look than what I have now. I'm just not sure how to get there. XD

              2. @thelastgherkin so If I were to ask if you could draw my brain on muffins you'd say no ? But if I ask whether you could be bothered to draw your own brains on muffins you might say yes ?

                  1. @theawesomepony I would say yes to all on the disclaimer that "it might be just a quick scetch, feel free to spiff it up yourself"

                    1. @critialcloudkicker oh i thought you literaly ment that you would have someone draw on your brain because that would be painfull

                2. @critialcloudkicker I'm going to assume you don't mean brains LITERALLY on muffins. Like, instead of frosting or whatever. If I think something is a cool thing to draw, then I'm going to draw it. :)
