    Wait... assuming that (as the episode seems to be pretty unsubtly hinting) the Mare Do Well is (at various points) all of the rest of the mane 6... aren't they being pretty hypocritical by praising _the bits they most likely did_? # #

        @pony Seems to me they could've... I dunno, each praised what the others did? Or not praised themselves at all? They're doing the same as they were getting annoyed at her for earlier in the episode, even if they're not doing it nearly as much.

          @spectrumscramble yeah. true. It kind of sends a mixed message. I just interpret it as, it's ok to be proud of doing good things and to praise others, but letting yourself get cocky ... i dunno. It's not the strongest moralizing episode.
