@ickus Yeah, that's great. :D Speaking of nothing, I'm trying to decide whether I should learn Paint Tool Sai, Inkscape or keep using GIMP. Any suggestions?

@retl You mean I should learn both Sai and Inkscape AND keep using GIMP? @crossbone Ah. To be completely honest, I'm not sure. During the summers I think the sun goes down at around 8 or 9 or perhaps 10 in the evening, and goes up around 6 or 7. During the winter though, it starts going down at between 3 or perhaps 5 in the afternoon And it's usually pitch black outside at 7. And I don't think it gets up again till 9 or something the next morning. I may be a few hours off at some points though, 'cause I don't pay much attention to that. :/

@flaxx Yep. Better to have more tools than none. I tend to use mostly MyPaint, but GIMP's Caligraphy tool and color dropper as well as filters and other editing tools are handy. Sai'll probably be good for you if you're willing to buy it, since it has vector-working tools built into it. Inkscape has a lot of issues, but is fairly workable too if you're trying to get skills on the cheap and produce vector art or lineart from vectors for coloring in other software.

@retl Hm... Downloading MyPaint now to try that out. You have a point there. I usually use GIMP because I'm familiar with it, but I wanted to try vector art so I got Inkscape. I find it a bit difficult, but I think it's more similar to GIMP than Sai is. I've heard some good stuff about Sai though, and I just watched that speed paint video on EQD, and noticed he/she uses Sai. Guess I'll try all of 'em. If only I had more free time. Thanks for the tips, though! It's greatly appreciated! :D

@flaxx Sure thing, and you're welcome. :3 And yes, you've got the right idea. Getting the FiM look down should be a billion times easier in vector since the graphics in the show are vector. In Flash.

@retl Great! Good to know I'm not way off. :P Thinking of finishing my Fluttershy as soon as possible and then try some vectoring in Inkscape. @crossbone Yeah, since I'm gonna start studying graphics and media and stuff next year, I'm pretty sure I'll get Photoshop for free from my school, and then I'll pretty much have to use it. But, now I have to go to bed. I'll see you later, everypony! :D

@crossbone I tried, but it didn't wanna work. I've used PS before, but never really liked it so I didn't feel like spending time on trying to get it to work. And about the nights, yeah it probably doesn't differ much. It's not that far away.
