    1. @pawnheart Well... that bold option sure is eye-catching...

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:18:51 UTC from web
    2. @pawnheart I didn't dislike it by any means, but Winter Wrap Up is one of those episodes that I never got understood the buzz for, personally. ^^;

      1. @leonkfox I think it was primarily the song. Not to say it was the only good part, but I think the song. Pushed it over the top.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:20:26 UTC from MuSTArDroid
        1. @scribus And to my shame, I really didn't like the song ^^; An online friend of mine showed me it to try and get me into the show, I ultimatley did but that song almost turned me away from it pernamently ^^;

          1. @leonkfox To each their own. I liked it, but it has been a bit overdone by the fandom. I want to drop the Christmas rule on it or something. Or at least get people to stop atonally shouting it as if it's funny more than once.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:27:03 UTC from MuSTArDroid
            1. @scribus Yeah, I do feel the song is a tad over rated, it's fun to hear it sung at meetups but I wish it got a bit less focus than it did, but that's just me.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:35:25 UTC from MuSTArDroid
        2. @scribus @leonkfox That's the same way I feel for A Friend in Deed, if it wasn't for Smile Song, it'd probably something like an 8 or 9 for me.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:26:23 UTC from web
          1. @scribble I originally disliked the song because of how much I didn't like the episode. On a second viewing, they both improved. :D Dear Princess Celestia, at some point in the past I learned that you can't always trust your first impression, and that you should always leave room for change.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:30:30 UTC from MuSTArDroid
            1. @scribus I know that feel, I originally thought Owl's Well was the worst episode of Season 1, when really, it's not actually that bad.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:31:54 UTC from web
              1. @scribble I haven't given that one a second viewing... Or maybe I did a while ago... :p Anyway, I liked the gags, but the overall episode wasn't the best. Not that "not the best" has to mean "bad."

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:35:16 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                1. @scribus Only episode I've just not liked at all was The Mysterious Mare Do Well. But, luckily, most of Season 2 has been excellent, so it kind of counteracts that.

                  1. @scribble ...well, it certanly wasn't one of the best. I enjoyed it though... my personal least fave S2 ep so far was 'It's About Time'.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:46:02 UTC from web
                    1. @pawnheart I actually really enjoyed that, though that episode is one of those mixed episodes, seemingly. I loved Lesson Zero, and It's About Time felt a lot like it.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:48:22 UTC from web
                      1. @scribble Yeah... that's part of the problem I guess. I just thought 'It's About Time' was kinda messy... and didn't seem to have a lot of point to it. That's just my angle though...

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:50:19 UTC from web
                        1. @pawnheart i personally think It's About Time took the simplest storyline they could...made it kinda weak in some respects...even for a kids show they chose a very simple plot

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:51:12 UTC from web
                          1. @cavatina ...it also seemed like a bit of a sore-thumb concept too. It's like someone said 'HEY! HEY! TIME TRAVEL IS AWESOME! LET'S DO THAT!', and didn't really bother looking into how they could adapt it to tell a worthwhile story.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:52:47 UTC from web
                            1. @pawnheart Yeah... it's an ep i really dont feel like going back to if i'm honest, i mean it wasnt bad, but it wasnt memorable.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:53:57 UTC from web
                        2. @pawnheart Then again, I'm someone that didn't enjoy Luna Eclipsed and Ponyville Confidential that much.

                          1. @scribble luna eclipsed was one of my faves

                            1. @chaosmagic It seems to be in everyone's top five, from what I see, but I didn't like it all that much. It just seemed to be peppered with too many annoying bits.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:55:31 UTC from web
                              1. @scribble Oh is understandable ^-^ Not everyone can like the same things and I respect your opinion :3

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:56:20 UTC from web
                          2. @scribble I must admit, I'm not the biggest fan of Luna Eclipsed myself, but I must add that I would rate it far more highly if it had a stronger ending (that letter to the princess is barely even relatable to the episode, and it just makes me think that an opportunity was missed to relate Twi's predicament with Luna's in the episode itself). I loved 'Ponyville Confidential' though. I must concur that 'Hurricane Fluttershy' was fabulous... in fact there are only a couple in the second leg of season 2 that I thought were below-par.

                            1. @pawnheart i found the spike episode really bad.

                              1. @wafers Dragon Quest?

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:59:08 UTC from web
                                1. @2ndmanliestbrony yeah. Did not like it one bit.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 17:01:39 UTC from web
                                  1. @wafers Well I must say that the ending was a little strange... It's OK to kidnap? But overall I really liked getting to know more about Spike and dragon culture. Maybe it's just a question of preference. For instance, Read it and Weep, which is my alltime favorite episode, has an intro that grates on me.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 17:06:17 UTC from web
                                    1. @2ndmanliestbrony speaking of, where is pee-wee in the later episodes?

                                      1. @wafers In his playhouse, I guess.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 17:11:35 UTC from web
                                      2. @wafers ...or Tank, for that matter... I can't avoid the nagging, dark suspicion that Dash has forgotten to feed it...

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 17:13:52 UTC from web
                                        1. @pawnheart I bet Scootaloo is looking after it. Cos Dash can't be bothered.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 17:15:04 UTC from web
                                        2. @pawnheart wow, i completely forgot about Tank...

                                          1. @wafers Seriously... I'm worried!

                                            1. @pawnheart Me too! Tank was awesome and if Dash had to bury him in the evergreen forest, i don't think she would survive if Fluttershy found out...

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 17:20:01 UTC from web
                              2. @wafers I liked it... but it wasn't one of my top-tier ones.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 17:00:18 UTC from web
              2. @scribble To me, the weakest episode of Season 1 was Feeling Pinkie Keen...and no, it wasn't because of the ending, before you ask.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:37:50 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                1. @leonkfox @scribble You hated how tacked on pinkie sense was didnt you? That it took the randomness away from pinkie?

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:40:06 UTC from web
                  1. @cavatina Yes, exactly. If Pinkie were that boring and predictable with her jokes every single episode she would quite easily be my least favourite character, but thankfully it's only really in that one episode.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:41:40 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                2. @leonkfox Watching it again, I agree with what you said, Pinkie seemed way too expected in that episode, instead of being almost completely random.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:40:55 UTC from web
                3. @leonkfox ...I liked that one, myself! My least fave is still prolly 'Griffon the Brush Off'.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:44:12 UTC from web
                  1. @pawnheart Really? I actually rather liked that one, heh.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 17:39:16 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                    1. @leonkfox It's About Time (the 'in context' option seems to be derping!)? Well, you're certainly not alone. Seemed to be fairly popular, it just didn't work for me... also, 'NICE CREAM DREAM' cannot be unheard. EVER.

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 17:42:29 UTC from web
          2. @scribble I personally enjoyed that song, it wasn't GREAT per say and a tad too long, but still. Did you not sing it at the last Exeter Meetup though?

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:36:10 UTC from MuSTArDroid
            1. @leonkfox With Little Emerald and another guy? Yup, can't remember what sparked it xD

              1. @scribble Yeah, and I recorded most of it xD But that made me assume you liked the song. ^^;

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:40:08 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                1. @leonkfox Smile Song is my favourite song from the show xD

                  1. @scribble Hm, seems I misread one of your earlier notices. ^^;

    3. @pawnheart Lesson Zero is now my second favourite episode. First being Hurricane Fluttershy

        1. @pawnheart Well, you did say the survey was back in October, maybe do it again after A Canterlot Wedding?

          1. @scribble Eeyup, my thoughts exactly!

            1. @pawnheart what survey?

Sunday, 15-Apr-12 16:41:43 UTC from web
              1. @cavatina It was a survey I did last October asking for fave/least fave ep and favourite character.

                1. @pawnheart Ah, awesome.
