    Why is the internet in the US so poor compared to the rest of the world? The average speed is like 15 megs in S. Korea, while that's extremely high end in America. Buck, we're even worse than countries like Romania and Iceland!

      @rarity In their cities I believe they have 100 and 1000 mb connections for about.. $20 or so dollars a month.

        @mrdragon exactly! I don't understand why some people love to brag about how much better the US is than other countries when we're lagging behind is so many areas (in this case literally, we get our flanks fragged so much quicker)

            @mrdragon well that statement was more for hyperbolic effect haha, I know that realistically the internet connections of most Americans are fine for gaming. It's more along the lines of download speed (and upload speed for streamers etc.) that we are really lacking.

              @rarity Ehh.. actually for upload the US has the UK. We have horrid upload.. I have a 15mb fibre line (That gets upgraded to 30 soon) and I have little over half a meg upload. It's really pathetic.

                  @rarity I've actually only ever downloaded at 2mb and uploaded at 100kb/s .. the 15mb is shared equally within the line for the house, and it's really crappy the way it's setup. But.. much better then my last house, 800kb/s download and 50kb/s upload.
