    1. @foxgopher oh, MtG! I used to play that all the time. I only have one deck now though.

      1. @rarity I have like 8

        1. @foxgopher I had a HUGE amount of cards, but I left them at my dad's because I don't really have anyone to play with besides my brother. And he built his decks /specifically/ to buck up mine.

            1. @foxgopher I figured out how to increase my chances of winning, though! Phyrexian Unlife+Melira, Sylvok Outcast+Darksteel Plate=fufufufu.

              1. @rarity I hate you. Just for that.

                1. @foxgopher It doesn't work too often, more often than not my spiders win. but if late game happens, and he has no CC's left to remove Unlife, it's /really/ funny.

                  1. @rarity I play a blue mill/draw all the cards deck. Its hilarious.

                    1. @foxgopher Do you use that card that makes it when your deck is gone, you win?

Friday, 27-Apr-12 05:30:43 UTC from web
                      1. @rarity No. I should though. I don't play often enough to justify.

                        1. @foxgopher yeah, good cards are expensive. I made like $25 dollars off of two cards I got when Innistrad released that were going to be top tier. They were selling for about $40 each.

                            1. @foxgopher I just used the money for more cards, hoping to get more money like a gambler. It didn't work.

                              1. @rarity Usually doesn't. you learn that living in Sin City.

                                1. @foxgopher At least I got a card that fit my deck out of it. It's an 0/13 defender that I can tap to switch it's toughness with my life. Really, really funny.

                                  1. @rarity Infinite 13 life! bahaha

                                  2. @rarity My favorite deck was a zombie deck I'd built which dealt equal damage to every player at once. :3 Sure, I killed myself with everyone else, but it made me LOL.

Friday, 27-Apr-12 05:42:37 UTC from web
                                    1. @scribus sure, you may only ever draw, but you never lose!

Friday, 27-Apr-12 05:44:00 UTC from web
                                      1. @rarity As long as I'm having fun, I'm winning, I don't care what the score looks like.

Friday, 27-Apr-12 05:44:41 UTC from web
                                      2. @rarity Also, it was surprisingly more fun than my infinite life / impenetrable defense cleric deck. That got boring after a few hours.

Friday, 27-Apr-12 05:45:18 UTC from web
                                        1. @scribus any kind of cheesy strategy is infinitely fun.

                                          1. @rarity Man, I played a sliver deck against a guy at ITT once, he developed a raging hate-on for them. If he saw one, he focused blindly on the player who dropped it (we often did, like, 6 player games) regardless of what anyone else did to him. And he was probably not entirely unjustified, slivers are gnarly if they get some traction.

Friday, 27-Apr-12 05:48:09 UTC from web
                                            1. @scribus Alas, I did not play the game long enough to know what a sliver deck is. It sounds painful, though.

Friday, 27-Apr-12 05:50:45 UTC from web
                                              1. @rarity Slivers are creatures, typically in the 1/1, 2/2, 1/2, sort of range, which each have an ability of "All slivers gain _______." They cost 1-3 mana, usually, and eventually you're getting things like a 5/3 with flying, landwalk, tap abilities, color immunities, all sorts of good stuff, for really small costs.

Friday, 27-Apr-12 05:53:09 UTC from web
                                                1. @scribus That sounds fun as can be. I want to try now.

Friday, 27-Apr-12 05:55:10 UTC from web
                                                  1. @rarity Better still, they introduced them back in the Tempest set (IIRC) and had a second wave years later, so a buddy and I teamed up with both the new and old slivers and straight mad dominated the game. Which was why that one guy made it his life's mission to exterminate them. Worth it.

Friday, 27-Apr-12 05:56:39 UTC from web
                                                    1. @scribus I'm still having a little trouble fathoming how annoying that must be. It sounds like your field just turns into a gigantic swarm of ridiculously powerful creatures.

Friday, 27-Apr-12 05:59:43 UTC from web
                                                      1. @rarity Yeah, pretty much. There's one that gives the ability to put a token creature into play every time a sliver hits an opponent, too, IIRC. Mad OP, but so fun.

Friday, 27-Apr-12 06:01:00 UTC from web
                                                        1. @scribus I'd like to meet the person who thought that adding token stacking on top of all that was a good idea.

Friday, 27-Apr-12 06:02:31 UTC from web
                                                          1. @rarity So cash.

Friday, 27-Apr-12 06:03:24 UTC from web
                                                            1. @scribus does it ever get to the point where there's not enough room on the table?

Friday, 27-Apr-12 06:05:16 UTC from web
                                                              1. @rarity Depends on the table.

Friday, 27-Apr-12 06:05:35 UTC from web
    2. @foxgopher You mention something about me banning you and I don't know what it is. I choose to take this to mean I forgot something. Banned until I remember.
