    2. @bitshift Well, the _green_ has. Now it's blue. What on earth?

      1. @bitshift Great job, technology!

        1. @redenchilada I'm so baffled by this. It looks fine in GIMP. It looks fine if I preview it in the Windows Picture Viewer. It even looks fine at the upload preview stage. Then it hits the avatar thingy, and BOOM.

          1. @bitshift Stop using a GIF.

            1. @redenchilada I'm not, it's a PNG. :S

              1. @bitshift I've never had that issue with a PNG.

                1. @redenchilada Yeah, turns out its GIF heritage made GD explode (due to it still having indexed colours - PNGs _do_ support that but GD, the image processing library status.net uses, doesn't appear to get on very well with indexed colour).

      2. @bitshift You could just ask for a png, y'know. :3

          1. @minti Yes, these are the two options

        3. @thelastgherkin Okay, yeah. Asking for a PNG without the room colour would be more convenient than figuring out what's gone wrong here. :(

              1. @minti There are only two keys on the keyboard.

                  1. @minti It's more obvious in the gif, since they're both pressed down when the corresponding hoof goes down. :)

                      1. @newpatrol Also possible. So between those two options, there's at least 2 ways a 2-key keyboard would work. :)

                        1. @bitshift Not really, Morse Code has no capitals or symbols iirc.

Wednesday, 02-May-12 19:58:48 UTC from web
                          1. @minti Symbols, yes (though the codes are less standardised than the alphabet, so there's at least 2 different ways to do them). Capitals, not sure about. Probably could be inferred from context, though, so it _could_ be done.
