Wednesday, 13-Nov-13 17:09:31 UTC from web
        1. @pony Why do you even want that? Well unless you want to dress the placeholder baby as a black metal guy and scare the dole out of a teacher.

          1. @nerthos I'd more probably dress it as Princess Erroria and call it a boy

        1. @pony Ich habe in die Schüle bichen Deutsch gelehrnt, aber ich spreche nicht gut Deutsch. I rather desire someone with whom I could speak German, in my effort to learn more languages. I suppose I'll just have to keep going to school for that.

Wednesday, 13-Nov-13 17:31:56 UTC from web
          1. @balance I can help with Italian and some French, but not much else.

    12. @sirnarwhal yeah... it really isn't.

Wednesday, 13-Nov-13 17:23:28 UTC from web
    13. @sirnarwhal I went through middle and high school with the mindset "don't get involved with the apes. they're not like you and they will steal, harm and do any act of malice as soon as they see an opportunity for it" and god, it helped. They acted just as I expected them to.

Wednesday, 13-Nov-13 17:24:34 UTC from web
    14. @sirnarwhal Killing a person isn't a good thing, but you have to keep in mind that just being human isn't enough to be a person. Criminals and the ilk are not persons.

Wednesday, 13-Nov-13 17:25:55 UTC from web
      1. @nerthos Wait. You don't consider criminals people? What?

Wednesday, 13-Nov-13 17:27:36 UTC from web
        1. @clayinthecarpet Nerthos doesn't consider A LOT of people as people.

Wednesday, 13-Nov-13 17:27:55 UTC from web
          1. @flamingpandaomg Kinda crappy outlook...and completely incorrect and unfair. What if he himself ends up committing a crime one day? Even a minor one?

Wednesday, 13-Nov-13 17:28:51 UTC from web
            1. @clayinthecarpet Bring it up with @nerthos. He's pretty much set in what he believes, so good luck convincing him otherwise.

Wednesday, 13-Nov-13 17:29:18 UTC from web
            2. @clayinthecarpet There IS justified crime. For example, if you shoot a thief that is about to break into a house, you will go to jail and be classified by the system as a criminal, even though your action was just and righteous. That's why I'm not such a big friend of law.

Wednesday, 13-Nov-13 17:32:41 UTC from web
              1. @nerthos Well at least you recognize that. I just wanted you to see that not all "criminals" are necessarily bad people, or deserve to be ostracized for the fact that they went to jail once or twice. That does not define who they are or how they intend to live their lives now that it's behind them. I think, to me, that's more important.

Wednesday, 13-Nov-13 17:34:39 UTC from web
                1. @clayinthecarpet Pretty much, yeah. I used the word criminals to simplify it. The word would be correct if law were applied correctly as a tool to facilitate justice, something that stopped being a thing centuries ago.

Wednesday, 13-Nov-13 17:36:39 UTC from web
                  1. @nerthos Understood and mostly sympathized.

Wednesday, 13-Nov-13 17:37:52 UTC from web
                    1. @clayinthecarpet Whilst I'm clearly an extremist and bloodshed isn't by itself bad in my opinion, I'm a firm believer in honor and justice, of the idea that the wicked should fear the just, instead of the other way around, like so many countries have managed to archieve through law.

Wednesday, 13-Nov-13 17:41:07 UTC from web
        2. @clayinthecarpet My definition for people is humans who do not seek harm to come to others without a proper justification. Criminals, sadists and the like aren't people, since they focus on hurting others for profit or sick gratification.

Wednesday, 13-Nov-13 17:29:19 UTC from web
          1. @nerthos Not all crime is done with the intent of harm to others. You're generalizing too much. Here in the USA, we have an "open container" law, where if you are standing in your front yard drinking a beer, you can basically be arrested. How is that harming anyone?

Wednesday, 13-Nov-13 17:31:17 UTC from web
            1. @clayinthecarpet That's called cherriesed up laws and I'm against them.

Wednesday, 13-Nov-13 17:33:19 UTC from web
              1. @nerthos Yeah, there's a lot of those kinds of laws. heh
