  1. EA at the UDS: "Oh, we're busy with Linux. Right now, we have about 14 games running in WINE without any issues". They are taking "Challenge Everything" a bit too far... #

      1. @mrdragon Yeah, but WINE? Like, for real? Can't they even bother with Mono? That's just pathetic, really.

        1. @omni Valve are actually looking at making it work on Linux, period. No outside programs, EA don't care. So long as their shareholders are happy what could they care? No doubt 9/10 if a game breaks on Linux "It's wines fault sir, please contact them" that'll be all you get.

          1. @mrdragon And that's exactly why I won't buy any games from EA and never have. DRM and their lack of support. VALVe, however, is a company I'd love to keep supporting.

              1. @ceruleanspark Okay, VALVe also has DRM, but not in the sense of "3 installs and you can't play". I have never had any issues with the DRM VALVe has, and the fact that they sell the games for a much lower price kinda makes up for the inability to resell to me.
