@pony Everything I have to say gets immediately trodden down by "people who know better"...and I really don't know how to feel about that. I don't have an interest in, and I quote Palpatine, "A GREAT. MANY. THINGS." so I just kinda examine it from where I stand and if I can't get it, I'll never get it. It's alienated me from a lot of higher-thinking folks.

@clayinthecarpet No matter how much you wish for it, you can't force a cutie mark to appear. Everypony has different strengths, but you can always improve. I think when you know what you care most about it becomes easier to focus on those things and become good at them.

@pony Bah, I have my cutie mark. I know what I'm sent here to do. I have for a while now. I sculpt, draw, and create my own designs and interpretations of other artwork. Sometimes OCs and stories, if I feel like it. I'm not talking about any of that, though. I'm talking about my inherent ignorance. I can't debate ANYTHING with ANYBODY. I always find I'm wrong. I can't relate to people. Damn near anybody. It's frustrating.

@clayinthecarpet I find that most people don't know everything about any given topic that they're debating. It's not really even so important to know everything often. I think it's just a matter of forming an opinion based on what is known and can be safely assumed. You don't have to win a debate to enjoy it either, but honestly I don't like to debate things I don't know about so I usually end up not changing my view in any given debate. When I don't know I prefer to just ask questions. Sometimes the questions themselves sort of turn into a debate. I'm rambling now

@clayinthecarpet Take the Pokemon songs on the stream. Those are relevant to my interests and they're better than decent so I like them alright. I would like them even more if I'd played more than gen 1

@clayinthecarpet I'm not sure but I think I tried playing it at a friend's house on Sega Genesis or something. He didn't really share and the minute I did play I didn't know what to do. Platformers have never been my favorite, and I think the one I played was one...
