@broniebrown say you're pretty smart and engineer-ous like ... In the event of a catostrophic power failure, What would be the best way to charge your batteries ?

@snowcone I was thinking more along the lines of something like this http://ur1.ca/g3tqy ... Only now I want to charge AAA and/or AA batteries
-
@critialcloudkicker Buy a fuel-powered generator or make a muscle-powered generator or get a solar panel or make a wind-powered generator.
-
@critialcloudkicker And the occasional C for my Maglite's
-
@broniebrown http://ur1.ca/g3ts5 or a Tiny DC generator :)
-
@broniebrown Actually... I am sorta looking for something a little bit more... like this I guess... http://ur1.ca/g3ts9 ... Either that or I could just mount a bike-dynamo to my trainer bike in some way shape or form and somehow figure out how to "squeeze" the output down to the desired voltage.
-
@critialcloudkicker you can use a LM317 to regulate the voltage to whatever output you want
-
@calvinthedestroyer ... I should learn how to read things like http://ur1.ca/g3ttp
-
@critialcloudkicker hehe, that's secound nature to me :)
-
@calvinthedestroyer I feel more at home shaping wood and metal to the image of my head without using power tools... Oh and I can program in both computer language and human-language pretty well :)
