    1. @techdisk Why not ? Also that looks a LOT like cyanogenmod. I can not place the thing in the upper left corner though ( looks like a square with 2 mountains in em )

      1. @critialcloudkicker its the normal android screenshot notification thingy. and I run Paranoid Android because it is best ROM. I had clear navigation and status bars on my homescreen and the ability to full screen BEFORE it was cool.

              1. @critialcloudkicker its stylized that way, but halo is like an extension of the notification bar. its that little blue circle at the right of my screen, and it pops out with a relevant picture whenever I get a notification. when I tap it, the relevant app pops out in a floating window so I can respond without losing my place in an app. very cool.

            1. @techdisk I do not see anything that makes me want to switch actually, lest you can provide me insight into the battery usage on single-core phones ( I9001 ) ... Currently cyanogenmod ( ariesve was the one who ported it appearenly, or castagnait... not sure ) is using very little ( 20% ) compared to my old stock from Samsung

              1. @critialcloudkicker well, considering I use a Galaxy Nexus, I just accepted that I'll be stuck with meh battery life. my phone lasts the day easily, but I hardly use it when i'm not at home. also I haven't had anything other than PA on this phone for at least a year, so I can't really do any comparisons.

                1. @techdisk I am fan of the whole "if it is not broke, do not fix it" approach, and currently this Cyanogenmod is working perfectly for me, whereas stock-Samsung android disapproved of my HUD controller... Sadly it turns out that gaming on such a device is not really my cup of tea since I notice a lot of latency.

              2. @critialcloudkicker from what I see, however, as long as the screen is off this phone lasts an entire day. if your playing games and the like it won't, and if you just check up on RDN (for example) every so often it should still last the day. i'm happy.

                1. @techdisk That was true for my phone untill I messed around some with the sound-settings. Strangely enough I get to last approx 4 days on below-average use where I got up to 1 day with below average usage earlier *shrug* ... I can even mess around some with the CPU govenor... I have no idea howmuch that of an impact will have though

                  1. @critialcloudkicker well I checked up on your phone, which I know better as the Galaxy S, and I can tell you that unfortunately as far as I know there isn't a PA build for it. my phone is basically a SGS2 without any of Samsung's software on it, and it was the first phone they made PA for.
