@awlderpy I've been a fan of Fallout and it's derivatives for a very, very long time. Since before 3 came out. I'm happy that people are still able to get into it.

@thatoneatomicdoublejuggalobackbreaker I started with FO3 but now have copies of the three games preceding that title and plan on playing through them if for nothing else, flavour. Elder Scrolls didn't click with me as much and I'm a general fan of that type of fantasy.

@awlderpy Don't bother with Tactics. It'll ad as much to the experience as pouring boiling water on your scrotum will to making spaghetti.

@awlderpy Fo1 is better than 3, and Fo2 is regarded as better than 1, so you'll have a lot of fun.

@nerthos I felt that FO3 could stand more humour, and not just dark twisted mangoes for the sake of it being so.

@awlderpy Excluding Brotherhood of Steel for the PS2, tactics is by FAR the worst Fallout game.

@thatoneatomicdoublejuggalobackbreaker I wasn't even aware of that being a Fallout Title until I read up on the wiki about them and thought, the name is very familiar. Not that I ever played it.

@awlderpy FO3 was more commercial than the other main games.

@nerthos Oh neat, that means it can be more crude in the previous ones. Although I thought the mutilated people on beds and whatnot was just untasteful.

@awlderpy Overall they're equally crude, it's just that the first two tend to take things more as a joke while 3 tends to try to make things more dramatic.

@nerthos I'd rather have it played at jokingly than overly dramatic, although if 3 was more jovial I may not have liked it at all. Difficult to say.
