@redenchilada Even if you never finish the project you can still put it on your resume if it's in a fairly advanced state. This apparently lead to most of the Ponykart devs getting hired pretty quickly, which explains their rapid loss of team members.

@pony I prefer GIMP for all my raster art. The pencil tool (which aliases, so you'd use it for pixel art) has a dot scatter function for making the semirandom dithering really easy.
