  1. >add favorite tab as default in Identicurse >doesn't work >"Oh, I'm supposed to use the British spelling." Why does the US spell things differently than the rest of the world?

    1. @redenchilada Because America, and don't you forget it, or else the terrorists win.

        1. @hakupony I think part of the problem is that spelling wasn't widely standardized in the 1700s, and two standards ended up emerging. /shrug

    3. @redenchilada Huh, I thought I'd aliased it so both should work anywhere (the commands definitely accept both). Good catch, fixing.

      1. @bitshift Also it seems perfectly happy to start a new refresh while one's already running if I mash r a bunch of times. Just wanted to throw that out there. Might wanna get the timeout issue sorted first, though.

        1. @redenchilada Yep. As I said, the present threading model practically only works by accident. :(

          1. @bitshift Aaaaaaaaaand trying to use a command that hasn't been defined or given an alias crashes the program. Might wanna look into that? Unless it's just on my end.

Monday, 14-May-12 16:45:51 UTC from IdentiCurse
            1. @redenchilada Well, that's not ideal. It _should_ just be ignoring it if it doesn't look like a valid command, so something's clearly not right. Could you pastebin/dpaste/similar the crash output?

Monday, 14-May-12 16:47:58 UTC from web
              1. @bitshift From where I'm running it, it closes the command prompt as soon as it crashes. I'll try pulling it up on my proper system later. Does it dump the crash log somewhere, by chance?

Monday, 14-May-12 16:50:35 UTC from IdentiCurse
                1. @redenchilada It does not. Running it from an already opened CMD window should keep the window alive at least, and I'll also add logging for crashes in the development version.

                  1. @bitshift I don't have user permissions on my school computer to open a cmd prompt. I'll see about pulling it up at home, though.

    5. @redenchilada Because due to that whole "ours is better" thing, they don't want to use a completely foreign language, and the solution they found is mutilation.
