    I hope this new Equestria Girls 2 movie is just a bullcrap rumor. It sounds...and I normally have NEVER said this about Pony stuff - like it could legitimately be awful.

        @mrmattimation I thought the original movie sounded fabulous from day one, and I ended up loving it. This? This sounds...far, far too contrived even for my tastes, and I hate analyzing Pony stuff.

            @mrmattimation I ...GUESS the writers could make it work somehow, but only if Ingram's music is every bit as catchy and wonderful as the first time around, and there are "enemies" worth the "battle."

                    @mrmattimation I agree, but I mean, to sell that idea, you gotta make the music pretty powerful and unforgettable. Helping Twilight Win the Crown was a different type of song we haven't heard in Pony very often, as was the main theme, which had been remixed awesomely. If the writers and Ingram are at the top of their game from start to finish, I'm sure I'll have a chance of enjoying it...It just depends on what the term "battle" entails, mostly.

                      @clayinthecarpet Flash Sentry's band, the Bronies, is challenged to a musical showdown by a rival band, the Furries. At the end of the movie they realize that they aren't so different after all and become best friends.
