        1. @ramiel eh...? Confused.

    2. @ramiel I really don't get what ponies see in them as enjoyable.

    3. @ramiel oh yeah I know Grimdark. With such classics like "A Necklace of Hooves" and "They'll Never Find Her Mane."

    4. @pony There is no bigger difference between 29 and 30 as between 28 and 29. In addition, we have a developement that age borders do no longer matter that much.

      1. @hakupony age boundaries are indeed becoming more blurred, and for thatg I'm grateful! it's just, when ponies ask how old and I say I'm in my 20s or even "my late 20s" it leaves a different impression than 30. The age gap is not always bridged so easily.

        1. @pony Honestly, do you *want* to associate with the kind of people who will judge you for your age alone?

Tuesday, 15-May-12 07:11:01 UTC from web
          1. @toksyuryel fair question. I'll have to get back to you on that. It probably won't be a big problem. Social boundaries are rarely as significant as I imagine them to be anyway..

        2. @pony A: "How old are you?" B: "I'm too old for this grapes *wink* " Problem solved.

          1. @hakupony haha! Hiding my age due to feeling too old just makes me feel even older though xD

Tuesday, 15-May-12 07:23:43 UTC from MuSTArDroid
            1. @pony Then just take it easy - there are people who are old with 25 and those who are young with 35 *shrugs*

              1. @hakupony you're right of course, but a very superficial and egocentric part of me left over from my days of cybering roleplay clings to youth. That's what I get for filandering I guess.

                  1. @pony Dunno how I feel about that word seeing as I don't believe in marriage.

                    1. @toksyuryel I love commitment personally. I would totally ask my wife's best friend to marry me if polygammy were legal, and I'm almost positive she'd say yes. Cool thing is, if it were legal and approved by our church, I'm pretty sure my wife would be okay with it. Of course I'm not sure how i'd be able to put up with the new in-laws. My current in-laws are gems in comparison, and that's saying sometime #

                      2. @pony I don't consider marriage synonymous with commitment. I mean just look at the divorce rate.

Tuesday, 15-May-12 07:53:38 UTC from web
                        1. @toksyuryel true enough. I guess I should add that I love both commitment and the symbols and rites of marriage that represent it. The type of women I'm attracted to also love that particular kind of bond and I would love seeing my wife's friend happy. Poor thing has been dumped used and abused enough throughout her entire life.

            2. @pony I hide my age for more practical reasons. Three pieces of information can be uses to track down someone's physical location with 95% certainty, and all of it is info we tend to give away to people without thinking. Two bits of information are already out there and rather impossible to retract so I have to keep my age hidden. This is easy for me since I don't care about birthdays.

              1. @toksyuryel understandable!

      1. @crusader8 ack! That doesn't sound like a particularly healthy crossover

        1. @pony Nothing is healthy when it comes to the minds of aspiring fanfiction writers.

    8. @ramiel Oh yeah there was another Grimdark. I can't remember the title, but the premise was such: "Pinkie's having too long of a dry spell when it comes to humor. She vows that the next time she tells a friend a joke, that it'll be, 'so funny you'll find them in *pieces*!'"
