    1. @rarity Why were you in a mosh pit Nico

Wednesday, 05-Feb-14 07:21:05 UTC from web
      1. @themoetyphoon because I was at a concert

Wednesday, 05-Feb-14 07:21:31 UTC from web
        1. @rarity Why would you ever put yourself in a group of sweaty people? That sounds horrible.

          1. @themoetyphoon it was actually a really cool experience. I got mangoesed up because, being the idiot I am, went in dehydrated and almost passed out

            1. @rarity You're alright, though?

              1. @themoetyphoon bruised and broken-glasses-having but yes overall

                1. @rarity Who'd you see?

Wednesday, 05-Feb-14 07:26:57 UTC from web
                  1. @extremedash http://pny.lv/cq1 So, it was more of a shoving pit than a "flailing arms" pit, but it was the most intense push-pit I've ever seen if that's worth anything. Eh, can't expect better from scene kids

                    1. @rarity Wow I haven't listened to Falling in Reverse or Escape the Fate in awhile, still that looks like an awesome show.

                      1. @extremedash Falling in Reverse is pretty great, they're really doing their own thing. ETF lately... not so much but they were okay

Wednesday, 05-Feb-14 07:32:31 UTC from web
                        1. @rarity I may have to check out their new stuff, who else do you listen to?

Wednesday, 05-Feb-14 07:34:32 UTC from web
                          1. @extremedash Everything. In metal though, probably more stuff like Whitechapel, I Declare War's old stuff, you know that kind of thing. I also love regular Death Metal like Nile, and things like Cattle Decapitation and Burzrum (not to say that those two are similar, just that I like them both)

Wednesday, 05-Feb-14 07:37:32 UTC from web
                            1. @rarity Nice I Declare War is pretty brutal, but I've never really actively listened to Whitechapel. Currently I've been listening to In the Midst of Lions and The Browning, and some times Attila, oh and also a local band called I Kept Silent

Wednesday, 05-Feb-14 07:46:18 UTC from web
                              1. @extremedash Whitechapel is my all-time favorite deathcore band. If you want chugging guitars, great growls, pretty much brutal with two O's kind of murdock, they're the best IMO. Deathcore is great when you take it for what it is http://pny.lv/j8k #

Wednesday, 05-Feb-14 07:49:07 UTC from web
                                1. @rarity I'll need to listen to more of their stuff I only really know I, Dementia and Make it Bleed

Wednesday, 05-Feb-14 07:51:44 UTC from web
                                  1. @extremedash that's there newer stuff, which isn't bad, but frankly I got out of the Deathcore scene a couple years ago. If I want to listen to metal now I typically go for boring old Progressive Death. I recommend listening to "The Somatic Defilement" and "This is Exile", Whitechapel's first two albums. It was a lot more... -core. If that makes sense. Their new stuff is more typical Death Metal, kind of like what Job For a Cowboy did after their first EP.

                                    1. @rarity Will do, and I know exactly what you mean Deathcore has changed a lot in the past few years, but I still love it.

                      2. @extremedash FiR's stuff hasn't been all that great, or at least it wasn't when Nico played it on his stream that one time

                        1. @themoetyphoon newer stuff* older stuff is great.

                        2. @themoetyphoon The Drug in Me is You is an absolutely great album. Fashionably Late is less so. But hopefully the next will be better

                          1. @rarity I loved TDiMiY, but that one where it became mostly rap wasn't all that great, imo.

                3. @rarity I would keep contact lenses available for when I went to concerts, back when I had the money for contact lenses and concerts.
