  1. @ceruleanspark I just had a thought. Do I need a bitcoin wallet in order to transfer funds from Bitstamp to CEX?

    1. @pony No, you can just withdraw from Bitstamp direct to the CEX address. You /should/ get a wallet anyway. I'd download "Electrum" because it's the least hassle.

      1. @ceruleanspark Okay. I'm sending CEX an email, though it looks like it's just a webmaster's address. Bitstamp has failed twice to send BTC to the address given to me on CEX's account balance page.

        1. @pony Send it through Electrum then and see what happens.

          1. @ceruleanspark Alright. Here's hoping that fixes it.

          2. @ceruleanspark Under the Receive tab (in Windows) I see several character strings that look like addresses. Are these my wallet address? Or where do I find the address I need to give to Bitstamp?

            1. @pony yes, those are all wallet addresses. You get a bunch so you can maintain privacy by giving different addresses out to different groups of you choose.
