@con He needed a scapegoat, and what better a target? They were in charge of all the businesses, all the banks, and even the pre-Nazi government. Due to the economic sanctions imposed by the Treaty of Versailles at the end of World War I, Germany's economy was in shambles, and since Jewish people owned all the businesses and banks, they were easy to blame for the depression.
