I still don't know what the psychological point of Silent Hill 4 was? Aren't the characters supposed to have something really wrong with them in Silent Hill? Henry just seemed like a regular dude.

@mrmattimation I do believe the recent news has demonstrated that a "regular dude" is pretty doleed up.

@ninjaperson In the Silent Hill series, the protagonist often has something that psychologically wrong with them that causes the town to appear to them or some grapes. In SH2, the main character murdered his wife and wished to be punished, symbolizing Pyramid Head. In SH3, the main character was... raped, I think? Anyway a lot of the enemies in that game are themed after sexual violence. Silent Hill 4 is just "a dude gets stuck in his apartment and crawls in a hole"
