    You know, if there was a job I'd hate to have, it'd be a sfx guy on CSI. Everyone knows the whole "zoom and enhance" and/or "check out this audio waveform" is all BS, but imagine being the experts in those fields having to go against everything you've been taught to represent it on screen for CSI. Now that's self-loathing.

      @thelastgherkin I would do it, but only if they came to me because then I could say I wouldn't go on unless they made those scenes realistic. Never would happen, but still.

        @techdisk I meant more the behind-the-scenes people who make the graphics and stuff rather than the actors.

          @thelastgherkin i know. I meant, in the basically impossible senerio where they specifically tried to hire me to do SFX, I would only do it on the condition it was realistic.
