I guess that conclusively proves that it's been 2 years and I've gone literally nowhere. Despite repeated assurances from management that things would improve, they haven't, and in basically every measurable way, they're actually worse.

@cinnamonswirl Send an open anonymous letter reading something like "hey, 2 years ago you promised us ergonomical desk chairs and keyboards. Now my fingers are starting to develop arthritis. Would it not cost more to replace me than to buy us ergonomical stuff" or something

@lunaloverchay Obamacare does not seem like a bad idea if you would ask an outsider like me, but the complete re-working of the inner machine known as economical flow, yea that is going to call up a LOT of resistance. ( which it totally did ). As for enforcing stricter rules about guns. Keeping in mind where I come from, they make a lot of sense. ... The thing about Obama that rubs me wrong is that aparently there is not enough lobbying from his side to keep the NSA under control.

@lunaloverchay Nothing wrong with rednecks. Except that they are REALLY passionate about their guns. This oudider's perspective thinks the problem lies with Fox News ( which was, I think, the number 1 news source for rednecks )

@cinnamonswirl As I've said in the past, you should consider joining a workers' union. It'll probably thin your job opportunities a bit, but you'll have a bunch of people with relative power working to make your job non-lethal for you.

@nerthos IT people are inexplicably resistant to unionising and I've never quite figured out why. I guess it's because they never agree with eachother on anything

@cinnamonswirl Strange. Over here they either fall into the syndicate for their workplace's orientation (As in, an IT guy working in the offices of a car factory would join the automotive or metallurgics syndicate as long as he's working there) or the college of technicians, which is less workers' union-like but serves the same function, just for professionals, independent or otherwise.
