"Let it Go" isn't even that catchy and is a mediocre at best song, not even the best in Frozen's soundtrack.

@northernnarwhal Let It Go is literally Firework by Katy Perry. I had them played on top of each other and they're identical
-
@scoot *heard ugh
-
@scoot They probably have the same or similar chord progressions
-
@northernnarwhal Identical, plus they stop and start singing at the exact same rhythm, it's ludicrous
-
@scoot Yeah they both use G Am Em C at one point and have the same cadence in the chorus I'm checking right now what the hell
-
@northernnarwhal Very lazy
-
@scoot I'm generally not too big on musicals as films either. They work more on stage because there's that sense of live presence but often times in films they basically just sing stuff they could just say.
-
@northernnarwhal CHICAGO THO
-
@northernnarwhal Don't musicals on stage also just sing stuff they could just say though
-
@thewaifutyphoon But the live presence kind of adds to it because you feel more involved. But yes, they do.
-
@rarity It was pretty good but it took the Oscar from a much superior film that came out in the same year.
-
@northernnarwhal from what, LotR? or like the Pianist
-
@rarity The Pianist, but now that you mention Two Towers that was really good too
