    I am currently trying to compress a 19 MB .wav file down to small enough that I can fit it onto a single floppy disk in order to give it as a kind of gift. As much as it pains me, 48 kbps mp3 here I come!

        @scoot Yeah, I don't expect the guy to actually keep the actual file as much as keep the disk as the gift. I'll probably just email him a .FLAC file.
