    So I'm advised to approach women as people rather than potential dates, which is good advice and pretty well in line with how I want to be - the problem is, I don't know how to approach people.

      @scribus I always watch them, figure out what kind of person they are, and how they interact with others, and then move in from there and introduce myself in the most positive way possible.
