Today's D&D session was epic. It was all about fighting into a castle-like star observatory that was infested by abberant crab people, fighting a stinkin' ghul in the kitchen, trying to survive while being surrounded by crab people, pushing crab people off the cliff, disturbing a ritual that turns people into crab people, running into the observatory tower, cutting off a rope bridge and letting crab people fall off, going up the observatory tower, climbing down the observatory tower, overcharging the observatory tower, jumping down the observatory tower and exploding the tower. It was insane.

@broniebrown It was my wizard who overcharged the magical observatory tower and jumped off it. He was the least athletic but most knowledgeable about magic. It was a wonder that he could jump far enough not to fall on the rock the tower was built upon. The rest of the group climbed down and caught me with a magic whistle so my character could teleport during the fall in the air next to them.

@nerthos Those were very nasty. They grabbed us and did a huge amount of damage while they grabbed one of us. After a while we replaced the term "grabbed" with "crabbed".

@broniebrown Did you try eating one? I wouldn't miss the chance of trying if I defeated a crab guy.

@nerthos We were running for our lifes. If we had the time I wouldn't do that. They were twisted people who were turned into people with crab claws.

@broniebrown Does that mean their flesh wasn't crab-like? What a waste of dark magic.

@nerthos It wasn't clairified but I guess it would taste nasty. Those crab people had reach 2. So I guess they had tentacle arms with crab claws at the end. I think everyone would lose their appetite seeing them. We saw for a short moment a huge worm with dozens of crab arms that was inflicting huge amount of psychic damage when we saw it. I don't want to know what would happen if we ate anything related to it.

@broniebrown Your DM is even better at coming up with weird enemies than mine. I'll nag mine to make my group fight crab people.

@nerthos I guess they were part from an adventure about the Region of Dreams Dal Quor from the Eberron campaign setting. I saw him flipping through pages of a printed official adventure.

@broniebrown I used to take pictures of my DM's monster list to share with the other players since he usually took bathroom breaks

@broniebrown After all that problem to reach the observatory tower, I am rather surprised noone tried to make love to the observatory tower

@critialcloudkicker We totally cherriesed up sneaking into that thing. Our excuses and bluff checks were so bad that we destroyed their garden gnomes (well... they were big animated human statues that attacked us).

@broniebrown Unacceptable :o ( poor garden gnomes )
