Gotta love it when siblings claim your/the family as a whole's stuff as their own and start making rules about what you can do with it. *passive-aggressive grumbling*
Sunday, 31-Aug-14 04:41:09 UTC from web-
@redenchilada I remember doing it, and I remember not getting why people had a problem with it, yep.
-
@therainbowdashx Really though, people who do that are terrible human beings
-
@redenchilada Yep, I was like 5 though.
-
@therainbowdashx I'll assume you outgrew it and congratulate you for doing so
-
@redenchilada I think I outgrew it after like 6 spankings.
-
@therainbowdashx Dang, when my little brother does it my parents just give the opposing party a lecture about "being nice to your little brother" or some bulldole like that
-
@redenchilada Start thinking about ways to sabotage stuff so only you know how to make it work, therefore ruining his fun.
-
@redenchilada I was being raised by my grandparents at the time, and my grandpa had a very low tolerance for any bovine feces of the male origin.
-
@nerthos The issue with that plan is I'm the family technician, so they'd just call me out to make it work again
Femboy sam sulek likes this. -
@redenchilada My family calls me out to plug in coords because they "don't know how to".... it's pathetic.
-
@therainbowdashx I mean, the audio/video cables are color coded.
-
@redenchilada Play dumb, or simply refuse.
-
@nerthos "Tim, we know you know how to fix this. Now fix it or I'll go into your room and unplug the router."
-
@redenchilada "I'll go into your room and unplug the router" xD
-
@therainbowdashx That's just the best,
-
@therainbowdashx Yeah more like I'll set up a MAC whitelist and block the family's stuff (except I'm not actually that spiteful to do it)
-
@redenchilada I'd escalate the engagement until the other side surrenders but I know that's not the kind of thing you'd do.
-
@nerthos You underestimate my family. Especially my mother.
-
@redenchilada yeah, i use to think mac addresses had something to do with mcdonalds wi-fi
-
@redenchilada It's less that and more my lack of a concept of when to stop. I basically reply to any sort of thing I can't solve directly by entering a war of attrition. Pretty much "let's see who can be the bigger dick"
-
@nerthos I'm that person who tries to be manipulative.
-
@nerthos If you changed it to "let's see who have the bigger dick" you'd always win Nerthos senpai
RDN's Lucifer and Femboy sam sulek like this. -
@nerthos In a contest of stubbornness, my mother can hold an argument over weeks and can shout loud enough to block out any logical counters against her. And in a contest of manipulation, my dad can get a $3/hour raise by saying he's moving house. I can't compete with them.
-
@therainbowdashx I think I worded that wrong.
-
@redenchilada Yet you still have enough technical knowledge to make all their stuff work like crap, and while that won't necessarily mean you'll win, it means you'll annoy them to no end.
-
@nerthos I suppose you have a point.
-
@therainbowdashx I do that too when it works, but I assume that won't work on this case.
-
@nerthos I would just so called "Agree" with he or she's rules and continue doing whatever I was doing, I don't see a need for brain.
-
@northernnarwhal That comment reminded me of Bowandlyre and his cousin.
