  1. Sometimes I wish people would explain why they didn't like the mobile site so I could work on improving it. :C I honestly have an easier time using it than any of the StatusNet apps at this point

    1. @redenchilada Probably because it's easier to get to the site on the apps then manually going to the site on mobile.

      1. @meloetta If it's that then I totally understand, but people have complained about having an easier time using the desktop site and it confuses me.

        1. @redenchilada The touch-targets on the mobile site are kind of fiddly to hit on an iPhone, compared with the desktop site, where everything works fine anyway.

          1. @cinnamonswirl Do you mean with the menus along the top, or other things? If it's just those I could make them bigger in CSS.

            1. @redenchilada It's the buttons on the notices, though the menu buttons on the top could do with some padding to move them down from the top-edge just a little. It seems about half the time I end up just opening a notification tray rather than getting the buttons.

              1. @cinnamonswirl Ah, alright. Next time I have time to fiddle with the mobile theme I'll mess with the menus and see about the notice buttons. Would just expanding out the clickable area on then work, or is it a bigger issue than that? (I honestly don't know how it works on iPhone compared to Android, since I know they work differently and testing on one involves finding a moment when my mother isn't using hers)

                1. @redenchilada Personally I'd hide all the buttons except reply under a menu, and then split the space 50/50 between the menu button and a large sized reply button. Reply is the function people use the most, especially on mobile.

                  1. @cinnamonswirl Alright, I'll look into doing that. That'll be a bit more work either server-side or in JS, but I think it's manageable without completely ragequitting over StatusNet's backend.

                    1. @redenchilada seems like it'd just be CSS? Like the top menus?

                      1. @cinnamonswirl Setting up the menu itself would involve a bit of JS, I'm pretty sure.
