      @broniebrown I'd be more surprised if it did not work... Wait did you have one of those cases with an annoying AC'97 possibility and don't know which one to pick ?

        @critialcloudkicker My case has a HD Audio and AC97 port. I chose HD Audio.

          @broniebrown I don't really know the difference. I do know that my old case and motherboard gave a bit of a nightmare since it used the same slightly too short cable for HD audio AC97 and on the end were loose connectors. I had to rely on the loose connectors to make a proper connection or else my videocard would not fit in...
