  1. So my school cafeteria has bottles of banana flavoured milk, it's actually pretty good http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/801713

    1. @northernnarwhal Oh that stuff is awesome, I believe they took it from the shelves down here but, that stuff is cool :)

      1. @critialcloudkicker Yeah, we used to have orange too but it's currently out of stock so I tried the banana. I thought it was unusual, but it was oddly alluring so I decided to try it. Was not disappointed.

    2. @vt3c The food in my school caf is hit and miss, you have to know what /not/ to order

    3. @vt3c The serving sizes in my caf are decent but the prices range from fair to ridiculous. I dunno if Canada's health standards are different but there are still a bunch of snacks and sweets and stuff in my caf. 1 of their best sellers is their 3 cookies for a dollar deal.

    4. @vt3c My school cafeteria has coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate, and french vanilla. It's great, especially if I need a boost in the morning (my first period math teacher is cool with people bringing coffee to class)

    5. @vt3c Well there's a Timmie's about half a km from my school if I want more variety on my lunch break

    6. @vt3c Ha, even when I was 14 in grade 9 I could leave and do whatever I wanted during lunch. They don't really care where you go as long as you're back for 4th period

    7. @vt3c I guess Canada is just more lenient about treating their students. It's certainly a welcome change of pace to elementary school, where I did have to sign out if I wanted to leave for lunch.

      1. @northernnarwhal my Catholic high school didn't let you leave unless you were 18. Of course, there wasn't anything of interest nearby the school anyway, so it wasn't a big deal.

        1. @techdisk That's weird because I go to a Catholic high school and they don't give a damn, as long as you're back before your lunch ends you're fine.

          1. @northernnarwhal huh. I was thinking you were at the same age group as me in terms of school. I'm 18 (19 on dec 26) now and in College.

            1. @techdisk I'm in my last year of high school, then I'll probably be taking a year off to work before going into either college or university next year

                1. @techdisk I was thinking about doing that but I'm entirely sure where I'm going and don't want to rush into a program I'm not gonna be happy with
