    1. @mastertdi Yeah, as was Panucci's for some reason.

      1. @mrmattimation That'll be a field day for the people who take one-time jokes seriously

        1. @mastertdi They also killed off Linda, and Scruffy was decapitated (but is still alive)

            1. @mastertdi Yeah, Linda got eaten and Scruffy blew his head off after his mustache was eaten.]

              1. @mrmattimation ...Was the crossover as bad as you're making it sound?

                1. @mastertdi Not at all. It wasn't brilliant either, though. I wish they'd done it in an hour instead of half an hour like they did with the Family Guy crossover.

                  1. @mrmattimation I don't really feel inclined to watch it either way, but I haven't been into either show in awhile. Maybe I should give Futurama another chance someday.

                    1. @mastertdi I'm really hoping that the crossover ends up serving as a backdoor pilot for another re-launch or something.

                      1. @mrmattimation Oh. I know what you're talking about now. That crossover Simpsons thing. Was that actually good?

                        1. @clayinthecarpet Like I said, it wasn't a brilliant piece of art worthy of being placed in the Simpsons hall of fame. It was a good Simpsons episode, and it was a good Futurama episode, but I don't think it was a great crossover. That being said, it wasn't a terrible crossover either.

                      2. @mrmattimation I stopped watching after the episode with that thing from the Sun or whatever. The episodes around that point seemed lacklustre to me but is the ending worth a look?

                        1. @mastertdi "Meanwhile"? Yeah, I thought it was pretty good. As with the other three episodes designated finales ("The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings", "Into the Wild Green Yonder", and "Overclockwise"), it's open-ended, so it was written in a way that the series could absolutely continue on afterward but was also written in a way that if it ended there, there would be no loose ends.

                          1. @mrmattimation I'd probably watch from where I left off if I did go back to it anyway, but eh.
