    1. @randomnarwhalher3 The ear is a little awkward but overall not bad

      1. @northernnarwhal I tried a different look to it but I think I'll stick with the old way

        1. @randomnarwhalher3 Do you give me permission to critique that drawing you just sent?

          1. @clayinthecarpet Sure

            1. @randomnarwhalher3 The colors you've chosen are pretty awesome. I like your ideas.
However, the horn is too short, the ear placement and the hair on top make no physical sense, the muzzle is too wide from top to bottom, and eyelids don't work like that. It should be more of a straighter line toward the cheeks, not a huge swoop. There are no nostrils and your hand/wrist is unsure of its movements. You're trying too hard in that respect. Just let it flow at will. Don't hesitate.

              1. @clayinthecarpet A big thing for me is I try to fit as much as possible on the screen, causing disproportionate areas. The hair I was unsure of and as for the nostrils, I find them to make my drawings look odd. And I just thought that was how the eyes looked. But thank you for the critique I realy appreciate feedback.

                1. @randomnarwhalher3 Look at real horse nostrils and use that as reference. That's really all it is, anyway: a simplified horse nostril. You just gotta put the C shape in the right direction. XD The hair is in the wrist and you could still fit in that huge horn in the pic if you block it out well. I would suggest doing some pencil drawings to figure out what and where you want stuff to be.

                2. @randomnarwhalher3 Here's one of mine, though admittedly, it's quite different cause it's on paper and you're working with digital, which is VERY hard for me, still:

                  1. @clayinthecarpet Also a slight draw back for me is that I'm working on a kindle. Though that shouldn't be an excuse

                  2. @clayinthecarpet I've actually made a lot of improvement on paper lately but digital still eludes me

                    1. @northernnarwhal Digital is a whole different beast. You're staring at a screen and making smaller (mostly) motions on a pad nearby. It's a re-wire to one's senses.

                      1. @clayinthecarpet Pretty much, you have to get used to the "feel" of your input device
