@deziac What people don't seem to understand is that blaming any problem on a entire ethnic group when the issue is caused by bad individuals of all groups only causes more division and hostility, and more and more leans things towards a racial war that some groups simply cannot hope to win.

@deziac If only more people were like you, we could all live together without racial divisions. Just walk through any neighborhood regardless of skin color and instead of shouting slurs to eachother, one calling another the n word and that person responding with cracka or some other equivalent, they could just say "good day, man" and carry on.

@nerthos I mean, I know there is racial tension, I'm not stupid. Am I upset about what happened? For sure! It is unfair and awful and something has to be done about it, for sure! But should we drag people whose fault it wasn't and whose supporting us? Of course not! Should we demonize a group of people? No! We would be no better than they were. White privilege does exists, the best cure for it is AWARENESS and SUPPORT so that it disappears. Not calling white people "demons".

@deziac Exactly. We should simply call out the bad guys, and refer to everyone else as brothers. Brotherhood would solve the issue forever. As a pretty damn white guy I can swear I'd stand for the interests of any of my black friends, using whatever advantage i might have, and even of those who I don't know but aren't hostile, but I wouldn't give a glass of water to someone who's calling me a demon, just as a black man wouldn't offer water to a white guy who calls him a n*****.

@deziac If I could, I'd bring the world to it's knees, erasing the idea of countries forever to further the cause of humanity united and be able to work with unlimited resources to boost technology and knowledge and eventually aim for the stars, regardless of how much blood that would spill. But the next best thing is everyone minding their own bussiness as you said haha.

@deziac the people screaming "F WHITE PEOPLE" probably don't actually feel that way, they don't really hate all white people, they're just extremely frustrated. I'll admit that I've been thinking things like that tonight too, but I don't honestly hate all white people

@deziac I'm a POC with white loved ones too, okay? I get it, I do. but try to be understanding, these people are hurting, and hurt people lash out. Saying things like that is not okay, but it doesn't really compare to the injustices done by the government in STL.

@rarity I guess I know words can really hurt, and have lasting consequences. I wouldn't want to march behind and support people who were saying I was a demon, no matter how much our beliefs matched. My girlfriend is a saint. :/

@rarity This could be the case. The problem is that the police, media, etc. try to drive a wedge between whites and blacks to prevent them from uniting and fighting for common interests. The historical trend has been for blacks fighting for equality; black nationalism hasn't gotten much of an echo.
