Another example: Xenoblade on the Wii (that game Shulk is from). So, the game's textures are, in all honesty, pretty lousy. The character models aren't stellar either. But the actual way the world's designed is fantastic. It's incredibly bast and colourful and genuinely gives the impression that you're traversing something MASSIVE, and the characters are all unique with their own traits and characteristics.
